mprove Your Tomorrow is a college access and completion organization focused on young men of color. We provide a number of services that support and empower young men of color in school, after school and out of school such as full-time, near peer mentors, academic study hall, college advising, college trips, parent engagement, and internships. We operate a structured, scaffolded program with curriculum addressing goal-setting, setting healthy boundaries, toxic masculinity, etc. Brothers will experience a sense of belonging and shared journeys that will bind them together as they tackle the challenges experienced by young men of color in this society.

Engineering for US All (e4usa)

Engineering for US All (e4usa) is a first-of-its-kind, national initiative designed to demystify, democratize, and increase access to engineering design principles to a new generation of students. e4usa provides a free engineering curriculum, with the opportunity for it to be a credit-bearing course at participating colleges and universities. The project-based CURRICULUM is a full-year course focused on four “big ideas”: Connect with Engineering; Engineering in Society; Engineering Professional Skills; Engineering Design.

Since 2011, GO has been awarded several grants from AmeriCorps to run the GO Fellowship – recruiting, training, and deploying more than 1500 Fellows to provide full-time high-dosage ELA and math tutoring, and near-peer mentoring, in urban schools in the Northeast and the Mid-Atlantic.

In line with our three pillars – Develop a Community, Mentor for Leadership, and Instruct for Mastery – GO Fellows are integrated into the partner school’s day-to-day. Fellows are expected to participate in everything from morning greeting to afterschool programming.
