What makes us unique
COPPIN ACADEMY PATHWAYS: Student will have the opportunity to embark upon an Academic Pathway that will prepare them for their future college and/or career goals. With Coppin State University’s renewed vision and support, your student will have opportunities and experiences unique in Baltimore City Public Schools.
Community
We are a BUILD member (Baltimoreans United in Leadership Development) where organizers train and recruit student and parent leaders. We partner with Coppin State University to offer dual enrollment for students.
Mission and Vision
Coppin Academy is committed to identifying those students from underserved communities to attend our school. We seek to improve academic performance and raise the competency level of each student. We will provide an assessment of each child's strengths and needs, and develop a personalized prescription of activities, services, and programs to foster intellectual, artistic, social, and emotional growth. As a result, students will receive an appropriate educational program which prepares them to enter the workforce or attend college without a need for remediation.
